This procurement procedure concerns the Supply and Maintenance of a Non-Destructive Assay System for Radioactive Waste Measurement. DESCRIPTION The contractor shall supply, install, and commission a complete, turnkey mobile Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) system for the characterization of low-level radioactive waste (LLW) and/or for free release measurements, based on electrically cooled High-Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector technology. -- NDA system needed for the measurements of radioactive waste and waste for clearance. Characterization of waste leaving the nuclear controlled areas is a legal obligation.
